The Teaninich 12 Year Old (D.2008, B. 2021) ex-Laphroaig Cask Finish, The Single Cask is a single malt whisky from the Teaninich Distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. The whisky has been matured for 12 years in a single ex-Laphroaig cask, before being bottled at 46% ABV in 2021 by The Single Cask. The nose of this whisky is fragrant and sweet with notes of tropical fruits, honey and vanilla. On the palate, the whisky is smooth and creamy with flavours of oak wood, spice and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and warming with a lingering smokiness.
