Gentle peat and white wine cask influence meet in this terrific single malt from Distillerie Lehmann in France! After distillation, this peated malt is left to rest in ex-white Bordeaux casks, imparting elegant notes of fine fruit and zest to balance the earthy smoke.
Nose: The peat is present immediately with notes of dusty tobacco and elegant wafts of pungent smoke.
Palate: Citrus comes through with lemon peels and sweet orange, gently herbaceous with silky, vinous grape notes.
