Detailed Description
So far in this series, Copperworks has worked with five different varieties of malt grown on seven different local farms. This program is a significant aspect of its whiskey creation strategy and going forward, many of its releases will contain whiskey made from barley which Copperworks can trace to the individual variety, farm and vintage. To achieve the flavor the distillery was after in this release, the distillery added a cask of whiskey created from its Five Malt recipe and aged in new American oak. Finally, Copperworks added a smaller amount of whiskey made from its Pale Malt recipe that was aged in a Cognac cask and finished in an Oloroso Sherry Cask.
